The rich magnetic phases in an ideal magnetic topological semimetal GdSb 0.46 Te 1.48

LnSb<i>x</i>Te2-<i>x</i>-<i>δ</i>(Ln = lanthanide) family has recently attracted intensive research interest due to its fruitful physical properties, such as non-trivial topological state, complex magnetism, charge density wave and skyrmion phase, making it a good platform to study the interplay among topology, magnetism and electronic correlation effect. Here, we choose GdSb0.46Te1.48, evidenced as an ideal antiferromagnetic (AFM) topological semimetal, and investigate its electronic and magnetic properties under high magnetic field along three crystallographic orientations via electrical transport and magnetization measurements. Compared with previous studies, here we have revealed a series of new magnetic phases (labeled as PP-4-PP-7) through magnetoresistance measurements. Combined with the magnetization data, we conclude that these new discovered phases are also likely AFM phases while their spin configurations are different. Moreover, the rich magnetic phases of GdSb0.46Te1.48could be attributed to the strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy.
