How to Do Thoracoscopy‐Assisted Thyroidectomy for Retro Sternal Goitre
Extra-cervical approach to remove substernal goitre is by sternotomy or thoracotomy. The morbidity associated with open procedures can be minimized by a thoracoscopic approach. It can be performed with less blood loss and less time duration, with the resected specimen retrieved through the neck incision.
