Creation of a software solution to the transportation problem in logistics by the method of minimum prices in rows using GNU Octave

The paper presents the development of a software solution, which was developed in the multifunctional tool GNU Octave, for obtaining an initial basic admissible solution using the method of minimum prices in rows. The developed software solution meets all the limitations of the transport problem, that is, it can be used to define the realization of the transport of all available stocks of finished products from all sources, e.g. warehouses of the factory and meet all requirements, ie. demand in destinations, e.g. stores, and that without disturbing the balance. The solution obtained by developed software will not always be optimal for us, i.e. it may have higher total transport costs compared to the optimal solution, but it is necessary for us as a base, i.e. initial step for further optimization of the transport problem.
