Transport Characteristics of Casson Nanofluid Between Rotating Cylinders in the Presence of an Inclined Magnetic Field

This study advances the understanding of Casson nanofluid flow—classified as a non-Newtonian fluid—within complex geometrical configurations subjected to an inclined magnetic field. The main goal is to investigate how changes in the magnetic field’s inclination angle influence the flow behavior. To achieve this, the governing modified Bessel differential equations were analytically solved. The results demonstrate distinct relationships between velocity and several governing parameters. In particular, the velocity of the fluid increases with larger values of the Darcy number, the radius ratio, and the angular velocity ratio, whereas it decreases as the Casson number and Hartmann number rise. Moreover, velocity is reduced by up to 34.38% as the inclination angle increases. Graphical illustrations of the flow behavior under varying magnetic field inclinations further validate these results. These insights enhance the understanding of flow modifications in practical magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) systems, thereby offering potential implications for engineering and industrial applications.
