Exploring the Extensive Influence of Carreau Fluid on Convective Heat Transfer in Rotating Cone
This study examines the heat transfer dynamics over a cone that is rotating within a shear-thickening Carreau fluid, emphasizing critical factors such as Reynolds number, Nusselt number, Grashof number, fluid movement rate, and cone rotation rate. The study examines the interplay between thermal radiation, Dufour and Soret effects, viscous dissipation, and the behavior of non-Newtonian fluids while addressing challenges related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer mechanisms. This study investigates the combined effects of buoyancy and centrifugal forces through the use of similarity transformations and a shooting method. Shooting method estimates initial conditions and updates them until boundary conditions are fulfilled to turn the boundary value problem into an initial value problem. The findings enhance our comprehension of intricate flow and heat transfer mechanisms, along with their potential uses in industrial systems that require precise thermal regulation, such as in polymer processing and rotating machinery. This research contributes to enhancing efficiency and performance in engineering applications involving non-Newtonian fluids.
