Enhancing C 2 production in CO 2 electroreduction using hierarchical copper–organic links: a molecular engineering approach for advanced metal–organic framework catalysts

A molecularly engineered MOF system based on hierarchical copper–organic links is designed. The calcined CuBTC exhibits a stronger adsorption of reaction intermediates, successfully converting CO 2 into ethylene.
