Surface pH modulation of amorphous manganese oxide for enhanced supercapacitor performance

In situ ATR-SEIRAS shows that a low surface pH enhances protonation during charge–discharge, boosting the pseudocapacitance and cycling stability of MnO 2 . This provides a new interface design strategy for supercapacitors.
