Black holes sitting in modified chaplygin gas: Thermodynamic properties with barrow entropy
The classical Bekenstein–Hawking entropy is calculated when the horizon is perfectly smooth. Even near the Planck scale, the space-time is supposed to act as a classical one. But at quantum gravity scale, fluctuations of space-time geometry are expected. This leads to the formation of a temperature saturation at high entropy. Physically, this suggests that most microstates are already excited and further growth does not activate new degrees of freedom. Free energy prefers to be minimized. In this paper, a dark energy contaminated black hole solution is chosen for which quantum effects are certain. Barrow entropy along with this ansatz leads us to different thermodynamic properties. Remnant formations are encouraged for this case via temperature plateau. Phase transitions are supported.
