Pck1-Mediated Inhibition Of Oral Cancer In Lactic Acid Environment
This study investigates the role of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1 (PCK1) in the lactonization microenvironment and its biological function in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Through transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis, we identified core genes associated with lactic acidification and their involvement in metabolic reprogramming. Overexpression experiments were carried out, and mechanistic analyses were conducted. Our findings revealed PCK1 as a crucial lactate-related gene in OSCC, with its expression levels strongly linked to patient survival and immune infiltration. Overexpression experiments further confirmed PCK1 role in tumor cell proliferation. Mechanistic analyses indicated that lactonization in OSCC is significantly associated with the immune microenvironment. In conclusion, this study underscores the potential of PCK1 as a therapeutic target in OSCC and offers new insights for the development of individualized treatment strategies.
