Anti-Inflammatory Effects 6-Octadecenoic Acid Insilico And Invivo Study

To analyze the anti-inflammatory effects of 6-Octadecenoic acid from Stichopus hermanii on collagen and fibroblast proliferation in gingival wounds A true experimental study was conducted on 12 male Wistar rats. Subjects were treated with Stichopus hermanii gel extract, CMC Na, and aspirin for collagenization and fibroblast tests. Molecular docking was analyzed using PyRx ver.0.8 and visualized via Biovia v21.1.0.20298. Pharmacokinetic properties were predicted using pkCSM, while drug-likeness was assessed via Lipinski's Rule of Five. Stichopus hermanii extract was administered at varying doses to measure SGOT and SGPT levels, evaluating its potential effects on liver function Molecular Docking of 6-Octadecanoic acid with TNF-α, NF-κB, JAK-1 and IL-1β receptors forms favorable hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions. Analysis of the pharmacokinetic, toxicity and drug-likeness properties revealed that the 6-Octadecenoic acid has appropriate activity and non-toxic. The fibroblast test showed a significant increase of fibroblasts and the thickness of collagen fibers (collagenase), with the p-value <0.05. Meanwhile, in the toxicity test, there was an increase in SGOT and SGPT levels with significant results compared to the control group In silico studies showed that 6-Octadecenoic acid exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting TNF-α, NF-κB, JAK-1, and IL-1β receptors. Stichopus hermanii extract gel effectively promotes fibroblast proliferation and collagen fiber formation. Its safety, evidenced by SGOT and SGPT levels, supports its potential for tissue regeneration
