Microscopic Assisted Aesthetic Restoration Of Anterior Teeth: A Case Report
This case report describes the application of porcelain veneers to address aesthetic concerns in the patient's anterior maxillary teeth. The entire procedure was performed under dental microscope guidance to achieve minimally invasive and precise treatment while obtaining satisfactory restorative outcomes. The patient presented with dislodged composite resin restorations on the anterior maxillary teeth and sought aesthetic improvement. This case report adopted a porcelain veneer rehabilitation protocol. Microscopic tooth preparation was implemented to achieve minimally invasive treatment (preserving 92.6% of healthy tooth structure), followed by try-in and cementation procedures under rubber dam isolation with microscopic visualization, ultimately attaining satisfactory aesthetic outcomes that met the patient's expectations. Porcelain veneers were employed to address morphological and chromatic deficiencies in the patient's anterior maxillary teeth. The tooth preparation was precisely performed under dental microscope guidance to maximize the preservation of healthy tooth structure, achieving minimally invasive outcomes. Furthermore, rubber dam isolation was implemented during the try-in and cementation procedures to ensure optimal bonding effectiveness. This case demonstrates that microscope-enhanced porcelain veneer therapy, when combined with digital planning and adhesive protocols, can effectively address anterior aesthetic deficiencies while maintaining maximal tooth structure integrity.
