Proteomically Inspired Biomimetic Gingiva For Periodontal Surgery

Gingival tissue is the first line of defense against any invasion that may disrupt homeostasis. The regeneration of keratinized gingiva is important to gingival recession, infection, trauma, malignant tumors. Proteomics revealed differences in extracellular matrix proteins between keratinized gums and alveolar mucosa. The effect of key protein on epithelial cell differentiation was studied by qRT-PCR. Biomimetic gingiva was developed by electrospinning technology and loaded key differential proteins. The CCK-8, Cell adhesion, migration, qRT-PCR, Western Blot, Flow cytometry, gingival organoid culture, and animal experiments were used to explore the role of Biomimetic gingiva in tissue regeneration.
