Roles Of FCSCs In TMJ Remodeling Under Tensile Stress
To unveil the role of FCSCs in condylar cartilage remodeling under tensile stress and the relevant molecular mechanisms Constructing a biomechanical stretching environment for condylar FCSCs in vivo and in vitro. unveil the biological features of mechanical force-responsive in condylar FCSCs and the role of the Piezo1-Ca2+-Prkca axis in tissue remodeling under mechanical stimuli through single-cell sequencing, conditional gene knockout, and diphtheria toxin cell depletion. Our findings demonstrated that condylar FCSCs were tensile force-responsive, and tensile force could enhance the chondrogenic differentiation of FCSCs through the Piezo1-Ca2+- protein kinase C alpha (Prkca) pathway. This study offered a new regulatory target for cartilage remodeling and regeneration in the mandibular condyle.
