Summary Of A Case Of Intraoral Approach Submandibular Gland Resection

Objective To explore the advantages and disadvantages of transoral approach to remove submandibular gland and catheter stone, and to summarize the operative techniques and methods. The anatomical relationships of submandibular gland, sublingual gland, deep lingual arteriovenous, lingual nerve, submandibular ganglion and external maxillary artery were reviewed. To provide theoretical and anatomical basis for intraoral approach submandibular gland resection and catheter calculus extraction. One case of intraoral approach resection of submandibular gland and lithotomy. The operation was successful. During and after operation, there were no bleeding and slow bleeding, no obvious restriction of mouth opening, normal mouth shape, and no symptoms of facial nerve marbular branch damage. It is feasible to remove submandibular gland and ductal calculi through intraoral approach. It is reliable to further improve the safety of operation by mastering the layout and technique of surgical approach.
