The Characterization And Bioactivity Evaluation Of Material Containing Strontium
We evaluated the feasibility and the biosafety of the scaffold combine with temperature-sensitive triblock copolymer hydrogel containing Strontium A series of evacuation-repressurization cycles were conducted to force the hydrogel into the pores of the scaffold, and the scaffold was examination using SEM; We evaluated the control release effect of the composite scaffold with ICP-MS; We evaluated the biological safety of the composite scaffold and the influence of drug-loading composite material on the adhesion, proliferation and differentiation of MG-63 cell with CCK-8 and ALP assay kit. We successfully prepared the scaffold with hydrogel, it was first introduced into tissue-engineering scaffold materials as a delivery and sustained-release system; The release of strontium from composite material was 32.2% in the first week and reach the total release amount of 70.3% in the 12th week; The cellular adhesion and proliferation tests indicated that the composite scaffold can induce osteoblast-like cellular adhesion and differentiation. This study combined the hydrogel into scaffolds in order to serve as a sustained release system for Strontium, the result indicated that the hydrogel-scaffold system is suitable as a model for bone tissue engineering.
