Application Of Four-Point Positioning Method In Orthognathic Surgery
In orthognathic surgery, four-point positioning method was used to determine the maxilla position, and the characteristics and precautions of its digital design and application were summarized. The clinical data of patients who underwent orthognathic surgery from May 2015 to August 2025 in the orthognathic Trauma Team of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Stomatology Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were operated with a single laminate design. In the digital design and operation process, the corresponding positioning method is used to project the design scheme to the actual operation. There is no obvious difference between this technique and traditional double-splints technique, and it has its own advantages in many aspects. In orthognathic surgery, the single plate technology based on four-point positioning method can meet the design requirements and ensure the smooth completion of the operation and the realization of the operation effect.
