Addressing Burnout In Dental Nurses: A Psychological Intervention Study
It aims to explore the methods, effects, and related mechanisms of constructing a targeted psychological intervention system in response to the current situation where the incidence of occupational burnout among oral specialized nursing staff is significantly higher than the clinical average level. The PRISMA systematic review method was adopted, and 27 Chinese and English studies conducted between 2015 and 2025 were included. The focus was on analyzing the synergistic effects of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) therapy and the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). The improvement rate of the combined intervention group in the emotional exhaustion dimension was 23.6% higher than that of the single-therapy group (95% CI: 15.4-31.8). The score of the Psychological Resilience Scale increased by 17.8 points (t = 4.32, p = 0.001), and 68.3% of the participants showed that the intervention effect lasted for more than 6 months. It confirms the synergistic and enhanced effect of the cognitive-behavior dual-path intervention on occupational burnout in oral nursing.
