Mandibular Advancement For Skeletal Classⅱ Malocclusion With Clear Aligners
This study providing evidence support and scientific guidance for the selection of treatment plans for adolescent patients with mandibular retraction. By conducting literature searches using computers on databases in both Chinese and English, relevant search strategies were developed using keywords. A comprehensive collection of domestic and foreign literature on the use of invisible aligners for mandibular advancement treatment in skeletal class II adolescent patients is conducted, and extract relevant information. Revman5.3 and Stata18.0 software were used for statistical analysis. The data in this study were continuous variables, and the weighted mean difference and its 95% confidence interval were used to represent the effect size. 18 articles were included, all of which were NRCTs with a total sample size of 399 cases. The meta-analysis results are as follows:1 The changes in SNA angle and mandibular plane angle before and after treatment were not statistically significant.2 After treatment, significant increases were observed in SNB angle, L1-NB angle, L1-MP angle, Co-Go, Go-Pog.3 After treatment, ANB angle, Wits, U1-SN angle, U1-NA angle, overbite, overjet, and Y-axis angle all showed significant reductions. 4 The subgroup analysis results of Wits values, U1-SN angles, overbite, and overjet showed significant differences. Clear aligner are an effective treatment method for adolescent patients with mandibular retrognathia. They effectively improve sagittal relationships, and have good vertical control, achieving good mandibular advancement effects; And step-by-step leading can produce more significant bone remodeling than one-time leading.
