The Impact Of An Assistant On The Speed And Quality
The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the active participation of a qualified assistant on the effectiveness of dental appointments, including the reduction of time spent about x2 times, improvement in the quality of procedures, and increased patient satisfaction. This research is original as it is the first to analyze the expansion of the clinical role of the assistant beyond standard administrative and sanitary-epidemiological functions. The analysis was conducted using the example of 4 dental clinics in Russia and the United Arab Emirates. The research methodology included: Quantitative measurement of the time spent on performing dental procedures in three scenarios: a procedure performed by the doctor independently; with the involvement of an inexperienced assistant; and with the participation of an experienced assistant. The results showed that the participation of an experienced assistant allows for a reduction in the time required to perform a number of dental procedures by up to 2 times without compromising the quality of treatment. Data analysis confirms that expanding the assistant's role leads to improved clinical indicators and increased overall appointment efficiency, which is a significant step in optimizing clinic operations. The introduction of an experienced assistant actively involved in the clinical process significantly increases the efficiency of dental appointments. The study confirms the originality of the proposed approach and its potential applicability in practice, allowing for the optimization of clinic workflows and improvement of treatment quality.
