TFRD Promotes Alveolar Bone Repair In Rats With Periodontitis
This experiment was to study the effect of total flavonoids of rhizoma drynariae loaded with water gel on the periodontal pocket of rats with periodontitis, and to compare with the systemic drug to explore the effect of local and systemic drug. In this study, the periodontitis model of 8-week-old male SD rats was established and randomly divided into blank group, blank gel group, gavage gel group and drug-loaded gel group (ethical lot number: 2024170). The rats were administrated by gavage and boloxam 407 and 188 hydrogel loaded with flavonoid. After 4 weeks, the samples were sliced, hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe the pathological tissue of the periodontal tissue of rats, and the expression of OPG, RANKL and other proteins in the periodontal tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry. More bone matrix formation was observed in the osteoid flavonoids group than in the model group, and more bone-like tissue was generated in the local treatment group than in the systemic treatment group, and the fiber tissue was more orderly. The mechanism may be related to the OPG/RANK/RANKL pathway. The effect of local administration is better than that of systemic administration on the repair of alveolar bone defect in periodontitis rats.
