Fea Of Periodontitis Teeth During Molar Distalization With Clear Aligners
Evaluate the optimal anchorage for patients with different periodontal conditions based on the distribution of equivalent stress and the initial displacement trend of anterior teeth under different alveolar bone absorption and anchorage during molar distalization. According to the inclusion criteria, one patient’s CBCT imaging data was collected and used to simulate the construction of three-dimensional finite element models for different stages of periodontitis in anterior teeth. Set up anchorage of different force values. The models were divided into four groups according to the three stages of periodontitis and four anchorage force values. The periodontal ligament stress in the non-anchoraged group is always higher than that in the anchoraged group. As the anchorage force increases, the stress concentration area of the central incisor moves from the cervical to the apical region, and is concentrated on the labial surface. The lateral incisor moves from the mesial surface to the distal surface and the canine moves along the mesial, labial, and distal surfaces. A micro-implant anchorage force value of 1.5N can be used for patients with no more than 33% absorption of anterior alveolar bone. For patients with 33%-50% absorption of anterior alveolar bone, 1.5 to 2N can be used. Clinicians should be mindful of incorporating root control measures during treatment. The lower anterior teeth exhibit a distal tipping and intrusive movement trend during molar distalization.
