Application Of Dynamic Navigation In Implantation With Atrophy Maxilla
To evaluate the effect of dynamic navigation-guided implant placement in maxilla with severe atrophy patients with severe periodontitis whose remain teeth could not be kept and will result in edentulous maxilla were selected, all enrollment took place from April 2024 to February 2025 at the Implant Center of a Stomatological Hospital. The three-dimensional deviations: entry point deviation, apical point deviation and angular deviation as well as the rehabilitation effect were evaluated. six patients (mean age: 66.54±7.1 years) were enrolled. A total of 30 implants were placed. The entry point deviation, apical point deviation, and angular deviation were 1.412±0.201 mm,1.680±0.277 mm and 2.321±0.742 °respectively. Immediate implantation and restoration was successfully achieved in all six cases with satisfactory outcomes. Dynamic Navigation Guidance improves implantation accuracy, maximize the utilization of limited bone volume in cases of severe maxillary atrophy, and enhances patient satisfaction.
