Clinical Research: Sticky Bone-Sausage Technique For Vertical Bone Augmentation
To evaluate the bone augmentation effect, implant stability and success rate, safety and complications of the sticky bone combined with sausage technique in vertical bone augmentation, so as to provide scientific basis for clinical application and optimize the operation process. Included were fourteen patients with single or multiple missing teeth in the oral cavity, dental implant patients with alveolar bone defect in the vertical direction, insufficient bone height, and need vertical bone augmentation surgery. All patients underwent intraoral bone grafting with a sticky bone combined with sausage technique, which was reviewed. Fourteen patients with missing dentition defects underwent vertical bone augmentation grafting with the sticky bone combined with sausage technique. In all patients with bone grafts, the bone profile increased in both height and width, and some patients with bone grafts developed high quality cortical bone. The sticky bone combined with sausage technology has a good performance in vertical bone augmentation, which can significantly improve the height and width of the bone defect area, and simplify the complicated surgical process, help to maintain the stability and health of the implant. It has certain clinical application value and is worthy of wide promotion and application.
