CBCT And 3D Printing In Complex Tooth Extraction
This study explores the application of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) three-dimensional visualization and 3D printing technology in complex impacted tooth extraction. The goal is to improve surgical accuracy, reduce complications, and optimize preoperative planning. Traditional two-dimensional imaging techniques are limited in accurately assessing the spatial relationships between impacted teeth and surrounding structures, leading to increased surgical risks. By utilizing CBCT combined with three-dimensional modeling, we can reconstruct detailed anatomical structures, providing precise preoperative data. Additionally, 3D-printed surgical guides are designed to assist in tooth segmentation and extraction, ensuring a minimally invasive approach. A clinical study is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of this technology in improving surgical precision and safety. The application of CBCT-based 3D visualization enhances the accuracy of impacted tooth localization, allowing for a more individualized surgical approach. The integration of 3D printing technology provides customized surgical guides that facilitate precise osteotomy and tooth sectioning, reducing intraoperative trauma. Preliminary clinical results demonstrate reduced surgery time, lower incidence of complications, and improved postoperative recovery compared to conventional methods. This study highlights the advantages of integrating CBCT three-dimensional visualization with 3D printing technology in complex impacted tooth extraction. The findings suggest that this approach enhances surgical precision, minimizes risks, and contributes to the advancement of digitalized oral surgery. Future research will focus on broader clinical applications and cost-effectiveness analysis.
