Immediate Posterior Tooth Implantation Was Performed By A Implant Robot
The traditional method for repairing a missing first molar is to use a fixed bridge. However, over time, a series of problems may occur. Premolar fracture is a common issue. In such cases, an increasing number of patients are choosing implant restoration. female, 46y, Root canal treatment of right upper posterior tooth + fixed bridge repair 5 years ago, loose restoration, slight bleeding of gingiva and food impaction were found 2 weeks ago. Tooth 16 is missing. Tooth 17 - 15 is restored with a fixed bridge. The crown of tooth 15 is fractured, with the palatal part located subgingivally. A longitudinal crack is visible, and the tooth is loose by degree I, with no percussion tenderness. The occlusal - gingival distance is 10 mm. The distance between the mesial and distal alveolar ridges is 14.5 mm. Preoperative design and guide printing, connection + installation of the guide surgical procedure, two Straumann bone level implants were implanted postoperative evaluation: no obvious deviation in the near and distal middle, 0.6 mm on the buccal side, 0.9°on the angle stage 2 surgery + impression and final crown installing. The mesio-distal distance in the edentulous area is only 14.5 mm. After the premolar extraction, it is difficult to position during the immediate implant placement. The difficulty of this case is considerable, making it suitable for implant surgery using a dental implant robot. Fully autonomous implant robot + digital process can help us complete immediate implantation more accurately and obtain satisfactory clinical results
