Single Tooth Immediate Restoration With Immediate Implant In Esthetic Zone
Achieving optimal esthetics and function in the anterior maxilla is crucial for patient satisfaction. Immediate implant placement and restoration offer significant advantages by reducing treatment time and preserving hard and soft tissues. This case series evaluates the clinical outcomes of single-tooth immediate implant placement and restoration using digital guides and immediate restorations in the esthetic zone. Four patients with non-treatable maxillary anterior teeth due to fractures were selected. All patients underwent atraumatic extractions followed by immediate implant placement using prefabricated digital guides. Temporary restorations were designed and fabricated prior to surgery, allowing for immediate provisionalization within same day. The final restorations were fabricated using digital impressions, which significantly reduced the number of appointments and improved patient comfort. Patients were monitored regularly for every 1 year, with assessments of peri-implant health and esthetic outcomes. The use of digital guides ensured precise implant placement, minimizing surgical trauma and enhancing initial stability. Immediate provisionalization with temp shells allowed for proper soft tissue development and immediate functional and esthetic benefits. Digital impressions provided high accuracy and efficiency, reducing chair time and patient discomfort. The combination of these digital technologies resulted in high patient satisfaction and favorable long-term outcomes, with no complications reported. The integration of digital guides, immediate temp shells, and digital impressions in single-tooth immediate implant placement and restoration in the esthetic zone significantly reduces treatment time and enhances patient satisfaction. This approach not only preserves hard and soft tissues but also provides immediate functional and esthetic benefits.
