Status And Factors Of Living Quality In Geriatric Periodontitis Patients
This study aims to analyze the current status and influencing factors of quality of life in elderly patients with periodontitis, so as to provide theoretical basis for improving the quality of life in elderly patients. From July 2022 to July 2023, 300 elderly patients with periodontitis in the research unit were selected as the research objects. We used the General Information questionnaire, Oral Health Literacy Adults Questionnaire, Oral Health Self-Efficacy Scale and Oral Health Impact Profile for Chronic Periodontitis for investigation. In this study, the score of quality of life of 300 elderly patients with periodontitis was 28.00 (23.00, 36.00), and the quality of life of patients was at an upper-middle level. Multiple linear stepwise regression showed that gender, age, family history, marital status, health literacy and systemic disease were the influencing factors of quality of life in elderly patients with periodontitis. The quality of life of elderly patients with periodontitis is poor, and the influencing factors are affected by many factors. It is recommended that medical staff formulate targeted health education programs on knowledge of periodontitis to improve the quality of life of elderly patients with periodontitis.
