Application Of Lining Membrane Method In Maxillary Sinus Elevation

To improve the technique of maxillary sinus elevation by using a liner during the elevation of the maxillary sinus floor in clinical practice, in order to reduce perforation, increase the elevation height, and increase the volume of implanted bone powder. 20 patients were selected treated with lining membrane method for maxillary sinus elevation and external elevation, respectively. In both groups, bone substitutes were placed. Implants were placed simultaneously with maxillary sinus floor elevation, while in cases of external elevation, implants were placed simultaneously or delayed. Postoperative CT scan was taken to check the implanted bone mass and analyze the differences in postoperative response between internal and external elevation. And CT scans were taken again at the follow-up for impression taken for restoration, so to examine the bone mass obtained after guided osteogenesis, the before and after difference was compared to show the effect of the two methods. R The lining method did not result in any perforation during maxillary sinus elevation, which increased the elevation height of the maxillary sinus floor mucosa, increased the amount of bone graft, and achieved good bone graft results. The application of lining membrane method for maxillary sinus internal and external elevation has relatively simple surgical operation, minimal intraoperative trauma, minimal postoperative reactions, few complications, significant bone grafting effect, high patient satisfaction, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
