3D Face Terminal Position Procedure For Orthodontics(3DFTP)
To explore the preliminary application of orthodontic treatment design method guided by three-dimensional image prediction of target position in clinical practice 3DFTP (3D Face Terminal Position Procedure for Orthodontics) is an orthodontic treatment design guided by the target position of 3D facial images. It is based on the prediction of changes in 3D facial images and for the first time uses digital 3D facial images as the target position to determine orthodontic treatment goals and guide the development of treatment plans. Select 20 adult orthodontic patients (10 males and 10 females) aged 19-32, and take 3D facial images. Obtain OBJ format files and import them into ifacial software for fixed-point measurements. Generate post-treatment prediction results in the VTO module - the aesthetic target position of the 3D facial image. Compare the different measurement data results of the pre treatment and predicted 3D facial images, and use the difference in measurement results to guide the design values of tooth movement. Complete the tooth arrangement design in Clincheck software. Similarly, these 20 patients were determined by two senior (over 10 years) orthodontists using traditional methods to determine the target position of the anterior teeth and complete the dental alignment design. The design scheme for applying 3DFTP is identical to that of orthodontic experts. With the support of big data and superior algorithms, utilizing artificial intelligence to accurately predict the changes in three-dimensional facial images after orthodontic treatment, gradually achieving the goal of humanized and precise medical care.
