AN EXTENSION OF BILATERAL GENERATING FUNCTIONS OF BIORTHOGONAL POLYNOMIALS SUGGESTED BY THE JACOBI POLYNOMIALS

In this article, the author obtains a novel extension of bilateral generating functions involving biorthogonal polynomials suggested by the classical Jacobi polynomials, K_n (α,β,k;x) from the existence of quasi-bilateral generating function with the help of a group-theoretic method. Some special cases of interest are also discussed.

Abstract

In this article, the author obtains a novel extension of bilateral generating functions involving biorthogonal polynomials suggested by the classical Jacobi polynomials, K_n (α,β,k;x) from the existence of quasi-bilateral generating function with the help of a group-theoretic method. Some special cases of interest are also discussed.
