Liver fibrosis scores can also be used as a marker of cardiovascular risk in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

In this study, we found that there was a relationship between FIB-4, NFS, APRI scores, API and dyslipidemia in people with NAFLD, and that as the level of fibrosis increased, the risk of cardiovascular event also increased. Liver fibrosis scores can also be used as cardiovascular risk markers.
