Military checkpoint exposure and predictive factors of quality of life among nurses during the 7th of October war in Palestine: a cross-sectional observational study
Nurses' QoL was severely compromised during the conflict, particularly in environmental and psychological domains. Checkpoint exposure, violence, and personal loss emerged as the strongest negative predictors, while higher education was associated with better QoL. Addressing these factors through institutional safety measures, targeted psychosocial support, and workforce protection policies is critical to sustaining nursing capacity in politically unstable and high-risk environments.
