Ultralow-threshold UV/solar-pumping waveguide amplifier based on lanthanide-rich metal halide perovskite nanocrystals

Yb 3+ /Er 3+ -rich (12.2%) CsPbCl 3 NCs emitted at 1540 nm efficiently with an optimal PLQY of 21.6%. The fabrication of a polymer-based waveguide amplifier achieved a highly efficient gain of 4.8 dB through pumping by simulated sunlight.

Abstract

Yb 3+ /Er 3+ -rich (12.2%) CsPbCl 3 NCs emitted at 1540 nm efficiently with an optimal PLQY of 21.6%. The fabrication of a polymer-based waveguide amplifier achieved a highly efficient gain of 4.8 dB through pumping by simulated sunlight.
