Mejoras en Supervivencia y Control de Vibrio spp. en Precría de Litopenaeus Vannamei Mediante Estrategias Nutricionales con Mezclas Sinérgicas de Nanopartículas
This study evaluated the effect of a nutritional strategy based on synergistic mixtures of nanoparticles and organic acids (BIOACID L) on the survival and bacterial control of Vibrio spp. and Pseudomonas populations during the nursery phase of Litopenaeus vannamei. The experiment was conducted in a 1.5-ha nursery pond in Ecuador, where BIOACID L was applied in increasing doses (1, 3, and 5 ml/kg of feed) over 22 days. Bacterial load was determined by selective media counts, and productive parameters such as survival and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were measured. Results showed a decreasing trend in Vibrio spp. and Pseudomonas concentrations in water and hepatopancreas, although differences were not statistically significant according to ANOVA (p>0.05). Final survival reached 100%, and the FCR was 0.96, highlighting the efficacy of the strategy without compromising productive performance. These findings suggest that synergistic mixtures of nanoparticles and organic acids can serve as a sustainable and effective alternative to improve health during the critical nursery phase in shrimp farming systems, although further studies are needed to optimize doses and evaluate potential impacts on beneficial microbiota.
