Rapid, efficient and green solid-state mechanosynthesis of palladium complexes

A solvent-free mechanochemical protocol enables the rapid and high-yielding synthesis of over 40 diverse Pd( ii ) complexes. The method outperforms solution chemistry in both efficiency and green metrics (E-factor, EMY).
