Duration of Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Glycemic Outcomes in Type 2 Diabetes
The current study, 3 together with other research, strengthens the emerging evidence that CGM may serve as a valuable nonpharmacologic intervention in the management of type 2 diabetes.By supporting improvements in glycemic control, CGM has the potential to reduce the long-term risk of complications in this population. It is, however, critical to determine how CGM can be effectively integrated into routine care, including which patients benefit most (and least), how to ensure equitable access, and how to do so in a cost-effective and scalable manner.
