The earth is life in transformation, where we play, suffer and dream. With our feet on the ground, we do theology. This is the perspective that shapes this volume. The articles published in this issue bring together texts by theologians from six countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico/USA, and Venezuela. They demonstrate great theological diversity and innovative approaches to theology through interdisciplinary methods. In general terms, they propose a profound reconsideration of ethics and theology in response to contemporary challenges. Criticizing technocratic instrumentalism and patriarchy, the texts develop an approach that places the human being and life at the center.
