Toward Omni Healthcare: Wearable Technologies for Noncommunicable Disease Dynamic Monitoring

ABSTRACT Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs)—including cardiovascular disorders, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes—account for over 41 million annual deaths globally. Emerging wearable biosensor platforms, leveraging synergistic breakthroughs in nanostructured conductive polymers and laser‐scribed graphene architectures, enable continuous and clinic‐grade monitoring of NCDs biomarkers from biofluids such as sweat, tears, and exhaled breath. This review clarifies how the molecular engineering of these materials enables the creation of ultralow impedance epidermal interfaces and strain‐tolerant circuitry, which achieve dynamic multiplexed detection of biomolecules and physiological rhythms—essential capabilities for early‐stage NCDs management. We further critically analyze next‐generation wearable systems that integrate microfluidic sampling, sensing modalities, and federated learning algorithms to predict disease progression through the dynamic monitoring of key indicators. Despite significant advancements, critical challenges remain, including achieving power autonomy (particularly for implantable devices) and regulatory harmonization. In summary, by integrating materials innovation, edge computing, and precision medicine, next‐generation wearables hold the potential to transform NCDs’ management from reactive treatment to pre‐symptomatic prevention, meeting the demands of omni healthcare development.
