Theoretical investigations of anisotropic compact stars in modified gauss–bonnet gravity

This research explores the solutions of field equations concerning compact spherical structures. To obtain exact solutions, an anisotropic matter distribution is analyzed under the influence of a modified Chaplygin fluid (CF) equation of state (EoS). This approach ensures a physically consistent model at the boundary, through interior space-time coherence with the Schwarzschild metric, allowing us to determine the relevant constants. To understand the observable consequences of our model, we utilize observational data from various strange spherical object candidates and estimate their radii by extending the anisotropic pressure at the surface. The obtained solutions undergo rigorous analysis through multiple stability and physical acceptability criteria, including the fulfillment of energy conditions, the cracking method for stability evaluation, and the adiabatic index as a measure of structural integrity. Other key diagnostic tools are also employed to ensure the robustness of the model. These assessments validate whether the proposed stellar configuration adheres to fundamental physical laws and remains stable under perturbations. A detailed graphical analysis confirms that the derived stellar structure satisfies the necessary physical and mathematical constraints for strange astrophysical objects. The findings suggest that the complex geometries derived from the matter distribution within the interior align with a modified CF EoS, making them suitable for modeling compact stellar structures. Furthermore, this study sheds light on how modified gravity theories influence the equilibrium and stability of anisotropic stellar systems.
