Robust Fixed-Time Control for Grid-Forming Inverters-Based Microgrid
In this paper, we present an integral terminal fixed-time sliding mode control for a class of nonlinear systems with matched perturbations. We propose a continuous non-singular sliding variable, ensuring that state variables are bounded within a fixed time. Settling time estimation is provided, independent of initial conditions. Our motivation stems from the need for smart grid systems, comprising various subsystems that require accelerated convergence to respond to load demands. Consequently, we apply the proposed control to grid-forming inverter-based microgrid systems through theoretical and nonlinear simulations.
