Direct Laser Writing of Polymer Nanocomposites for Tunable Structural Color (Adv. Mater. 43/2025)
Tunable Structural Color This cover depicts direct laser writing, using 2 photon polymerisation, of self-assembled nanocomposite materials. Using fabrication parameters, Larisa Florea, Colm Delaney, and co-workers are able to finely tune the interparticle spacing. They exploit this to generate wide gamut reflected color in the aqueous state and employ it in stimuli-responsive polymers for responsive color changes.
