A rare case of paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis with undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma of the proximal anterior thigh
• Paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes (PNS) can occur in association with soft tissue sarcomas, though they are rarely reported. • Negative paraneoplastic antibody panels do not exclude the diagnosis of PNS. • Early systemic or neurologic symptoms in patients with sarcoma should prompt consideration of a paraneoplastic process.
