A novel bivalent albumin binder for enhanced tumor retention of a fibroblast activation protein-targeted radioligand

We developed a novel bivalent albumin binder composed of two molecules of lysine-4-(<i>p</i>-iodophenyl)butyric acid, (Lys-IPBA)2, which markedly enhanced the tumor retention of a FAP-targeted radioligand compared to Lys-IPBA. The results suggest the promising potential of (Lys-IPBA)2 as a pharmacokinetic modifier of radioligands for cancer diagnosis and therapy.

Abstract

We developed a novel bivalent albumin binder composed of two molecules of lysine-4-(<i>p</i>-iodophenyl)butyric acid, (Lys-IPBA)2, which markedly enhanced the tumor retention of a FAP-targeted radioligand compared to Lys-IPBA. The results suggest the promising potential of (Lys-IPBA)2 as a pharmacokinetic modifier of radioligands for cancer diagnosis and therapy.
