Micro Bubble Blanket Coated Nano‐Ridge Surfaces for Robust and Efficient Thermal Management (Small 43/2025)
Thermal Management In article number 2411835, Xiongjiang Yu, Jinliang Xu, and co-workers showed a “microbubble blanket” phenomenon: microbubbles dynamically cover the chip surface with nano ridges, enhancing the robustness of heat transfer coefficients in the localized hot region. The finding enables a passive, efficient, and predictable heat transfer technology to overcome thermal crisis for high-heat-flux devices without any external power.
