Efficacy of CDK 4/6 inhibitors in the treatment of a patient with early progression of HR+Her2-negative breast cancer
The article presents a clinical case of a 39-year-old patient with hormone-positive HER2-negative breast cancer. In accordance with treatment standards, the patient underwent surgical intervention in the amount of subcutaneous mastectomy with simultaneous reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy. Histological examination revealed metastases in the sentinel lymph nodes. Despite adjuvant therapy with tamoxifen and goserelin and radiation therapy, a follow-up examination seven months later revealed multiple liver metastases. An oophorectomy and a switch to the use of a combination of ribociclib and anastrozole were performed, which ensured long-term stabilization of the disease.
