Autonomie sur ordonnance : évaluation gériatrique globale en ambulatoire
In the context of global aging, comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) is a key tool to prevent functional decline and loss of autonomy. As a standardized, multidimensional, and interdisciplinary approach, CGA allows for the early detection of frailty and the development of personalized care plans. When implemented in both hospital and community settings, CGA improves home retention, reduces hospitalizations, and delays institutionalization. Beyond its clinical benefits, CGA is economically viable and aligns with the evolving healthcare needs. Investing in CGA means supporting a more autonomous, dignified, and patient-centered aging process.
