Review of the Indian knowledge system application to machine learning
Recent advancements in machine learning in India have spurred innovation across healthcare, agriculture, education, and finance. This study investigates how traditional Indian knowledge system (IKS) such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic mathematics, and Jyotish Shastra can be integrated with modern machine learning methodologies to enhance their efficacy and relevance. The study aims to investigate how ancient practices can inform and refine contemporary algorithms, leading to the development of innovative models. For instance, Vedic mathematics may optimize computational efficiency, while Ayurvedic principles could contribute to personalized medical treatments. This integration not only aims to improve algorithm accuracy but also to preserve and promote traditional wisdom. By connecting IKS with current technology, this research seeks to advance interdisciplinary studies and foster the development of culturally enriched technological solutions with significant implications for sectors like healthcare, education, and public policy.
