Physical Characteristics of Tungsten Oxide and Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Synthesized in a Liquid-Phase Plasma Discharge
It has been demonstrated that plasma discharge in a liquid exposed to high-power ultrasonic fields above the cavitation threshold is highly effective for triggering a range of physical and chemical processes. Applying this kind of discharge, nanoparticles of tungsten and zinc oxides were produced. Subsequent investigation of these synthesized nanoparticles revealed that the ultrasonic cavitation factor during their synthesis has a pronounced impact on their physical and chemical properties.
