Whole-genome sequence of Microbacterium enclense GM-13, isolated from field-grown bean in Sinaloa

The genus Microbacterium contains bacteria ubiquitously distributed in various environments and includes plant-associated bacteria able to colonize the tissue of agricultural crop plants. The objective of this work was to complete the genome sequence of Microbacterium enclense GM-13 isolated from a field-grown bean in Sinaloa. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Microbacterium enclense GM-13, isolated from a conventionally grown bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) from a field in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The nucleotide sequence of this genome was deposited into NCBI GenBank under the accession PRJNA1168145. In this report, we introduce the entire genomic sequence of Microbacterium enclense GM-13, which is 3,172,320 bp long, with 71.74% G + C content and 3,076 CDSs. The Microbacterium enclense GM-13 genome is essential for understanding the genetics of this pathogen, which will aid in analyzing possible virulence genes and contribute to the development of control strategies.
