Langenbeck's disease: An unusual cause of limited mouth opening
Langenbeck's disease, or bilateral coronary hyperplasia, is a rare condition. It is characterised by limited mouth opening due to bone conflict between the coronary process and the posterior aspect of the zygomatic bone. The authors reported two observations illustrating Langenbeck's disease. The rarity and lack of awareness of Langenbeck's disease is responsible for delayed diagnosis. However, it should be included in the list of diagnoses to consider in all cases of limited mouth opening.
